Using the handout, write six short paragraphs about the six scenarios on the assignment sheet.  Write them in your notebook under the title, “You Be The Judge.”

In you notebook, write the title, “The French Revolution. Then, list and define the “Terms and Names” that are in the section reviews at the bottom of pages 196  and 203.  The definitions should be one or two full sentences each.

This will take place in class after we take notes.  You may use your notes on pages 193-203 and your notes from class.      

 

7)  Unit Two Exam (75 points)                                                                                           due ___________

 It will be a 50 question, multiple-choice test.  You will receive a thorough study guide. 

 

8)  Democracy Research Paper (Standard)                                                                     due ___________

You will research the history of one nation and write an essay about the political changes the nation has been through.  The paper will describe your nation's current government, and any experience it has had with democratic rule.  An assignment sheet will be given.

 

Extra Credit

  1. Watch a movie on the movie list and do the assigned write-up about it.
  2. Turn your “Timeline of the Development of Democracy” into a wall poster.
