COLLEEN E. MCAVOY specializes in estate planning, conservatorships, business and real estate law. Her business and real estate clients include individuals, partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies and homeowners’ associations. Ms. McAvoy is a State Bar certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law, and serves as Independent Counsel in conservatorship matters for the San Mateo County Superior Court. She is also member of the board of directors of the San Mateo County Bar Association and its sections on real estate and estate planning, and served as co-chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Section for several years. Ms. McAvoy was first named a Northern California SuperLawyer in 2009. She received her undergraduate degree in public policy from Stanford University and graduated from Hastings College of the Law (University of California) in 1985.
