COLLEEN E. MCAVOY specializes in estate
planning, business and real estate. Her business and real estate clients
include individuals, partnerships, corporations, limited liability
companies and homeowners’ associations.
Ms. McAvoy is a member of the San Mateo County Bar Association and its sections
on real estate, estate planning, and elder law, serving as co-chair of the Estate
Planning and Probate Section for several years. Ms. McAvoy serves as Independent
Counsel in conservatorship matters for the San Mateo County Superior Court, and
is a board member of both the Peninsula Estate Planning Council and the San Mateo
County Bar Association. She received her undergraduate
degree in public policy from Stanford
University and graduated from Hastings College of the Law (University
of California) in 1985.
